Key to the success and smooth running throughout our operation is the equipment. In our Pre-Press department the combination of Printready software from Heidelberg, proofing through Epson DIgital and Screen 8800 II CTP producing 30 B1 litho plates per hour, means we are able to provide the turnaround required by our customers and maintain efficient workflow to our printing and finishing departments.

An optimum combination of printing equipment covering most commercial sizes gives us the opportunity to produce a wide variety of print at the right quality, the right speed and at the right price.

A MGi Meteor SRA3 digital press printing 1 & 4 colours, a Heidelberg GTO B3 2 colour litho press capable of perfecting 1 back 1, a Heidelberg SM52 B3 5 colour litho press capable of printing 2 back 3 and a Mitsubishi 3H5 B1 5 colour press are all served by CIP4 workflow and demonstrate the powerful level of equipment we use to produce a vast range of print.

Our finishing department boasts the latest equipment for producing the widest range of work in this part of the country.

The recent introduction of a Heidelberg TA52 B2 folder that can also glue and trim in-line, a Heidelberg 115X B1flow-line guillotine, and a

Horizon BQ270 perfect binder that can make-ready in just one copy, has given us the ability to provide even more finishing options for the customer and greater flexibility for production. With a Heidelberg Proline B1 Folder, a MB CAS 38 6 page A4 folder and a Muller 225 wire stitching line with 5 stations and a cover feed, we can produce most commercial print items confidently.

To produce more distinctive projects we have a series of equipment that enables production to be kept under one roof and so controlled at all stages. These include Heidelberg B2 die cutting machines, Renz A3 wiro`binders, a Muller book sewing machine for case bound & cover drawn on work, Soag single head & Iram four head drilling machines and Hohner single & twin head hand wire stitching machines.

Our craft bookbinding section has 2 full time staff with a vast range of experience producing bespoke binding and one off pieces such as sample work for presenting at pitches.

We are always researching and developing new ideas for investment. We work with our clients, listening to their ideas and introduce new machinery to cope with demand. During 2007 we will be continuing with our investment, always looking for new opportunities.
